Images served from mealace.app ============================== Every file here is hosted on this origin. The pages make no third-party request, which is what lets web/style.css keep saying so and what keeps the privacy pages honest about the site itself, not only about the app. All five photographs are licensed for commercial use with no attribution required. The credits below are recorded anyway, so that anyone can re-check a licence without re-doing the search, and so a photo can be replaced knowing where it came from. Each file was resized, cropped to a fixed ratio and given one shared grade — a small warm shift toward the page's cream, slightly less saturation, mild contrast — so that five photographers read as one set rather than as a collage. The originals are unmodified at the source URLs. PHOTOGRAPHS ----------- table-1800.webp, table-900.webp 16:9 An overhead table with several dishes and several people reaching for them. WHAT THE ALT TEXT MAY AND MAY NOT SAY ------------------------------------- Alt text is copy. `scripts/check_web_language.py` reads every `alt` attribute on these pages as its own unit and applies the same rules as the rest of the site, which is the point: a photograph of a dinner sitting beside a paragraph about allergies must not be captioned as if the dish shown were checked, safe for anyone, or free of anything. The alt text describes what is in the frame and nothing more. None of these dishes is a MealAce plan. APPLE ASSETS ------------ appstore-badge-black.svg, appstore-badge-white.svg Apple's own "Download on the App Store" badge, fetched unmodified from Apple's marketing tools endpoint: https://toolbox.marketingtools.apple.com/api/v2/badges/download-on-the-app-store/{black,white}/en-us Apple's identity guidelines require the badge to be used as supplied, in black or white, with clear space around it and no recolouring. The page uses black on the light theme and white on the dark one, and sizes it by height so the aspect ratio cannot drift. qr-appstore.svg Generated locally. It encodes exactly one string: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6801369765 It is NOT trusted because a library produced it. The file that ships was rendered the way a browser renders it and then decoded with the QR decoder macOS itself provides; the decoded string was compared to the URL above. Regenerating it without repeating that check is how a QR that points somewhere else, or nowhere, gets published.
